What you'll do

  • Manage and expand merchant acquisition and relationship activities across North Luzon, identifying, approaching, and onboarding new merchants from various industries to adopt our payment solutions, including POS terminals, QR payments, and e-wallet services.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with merchants across the region to drive transaction growth, retention, and overall satisfaction.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs), service agreements, and other business terms aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Technology, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure seamless merchant onboarding, integration, and ongoing support.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager and escalation point for merchant concerns, operational issues, and service-related inquiries within the assigned regional portfolio.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance across North Luzon, including transaction volumes, merchant activity, and revenue growth, while identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling.
  • Conduct regular market visits and business development activities across North Luzon to strengthen market presence and merchant engagement.
  • Stay informed on regional market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs within the payments and fintech industry to support strategic growth initiatives.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or account management within fintech, banking, payments, or e-commerce.
  • Proven track record in closing deals, managing merchant portfolios, and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to manage regional coverage across North Luzon.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and international teams is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel within North Luzon for field and merchant visits.
  • Mandarin speaking skills are a plus.
