RECUR’s Accounting organization is focused on producing world-class financial reporting for our internal and external stakeholders. We use industry-leading enterprise ERP software as well as cutting-edge tools, and partner with firms and regulatory bodies outside RECUR to answer some of the most interesting questions in cryptoaccounting.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager with an active CPA to join our Controller and rockstar Finance team. RECUR is still very much a startup, so this is a hands-on, A-Z role with tremendous opportunity to build and grow.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, where you will build experiences for some of the most coveted brands in the world on innovative, creative projects in the nascent and growing NFT space.

What you will do at RECUR:

• The small stuff: Accounts Payable, Reimbursements, Bank Reconciliations, Cryptocurrency Cost Basis and Disposition tracking, Payroll reporting, Chart of Accounts updates
• The medium stuff: assisting with ERP and other recordkeeping software implementations, addressing vendor issues, producing financial reports, documenting and improving existing processes, interacting with the business to accurately account for new initiatives
• The big stuff: producing detailed and timely royalty reports for our Licensors, Cash being a go-to resource for all of RECUR on our financial position as we scale, be a leader in our quarterly budgeting process; liaise with external accounting firms and lead work streams with internal stakeholders to define and document necessary financial controls

What you bring to RECUR:

• 5+ years of experience as an accountant, with at least 2 years at a Big4 firm
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
• An active CPA
• Broad exposure across multiple subledgers, not just Cash or AP
• A deep understanding of an ecommerce P&L
• Experience with fixed assets and intangibles
• Experience with cash management
• Experience with procurement and ASC606
• Experience using Sage Intacct or a similar ERP
• Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and/or NFTs
• A “no job is too small” attitude

• Experience in a professional context with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
• Masters in Accounting

This is a completely remote role and can work anywhere in the US.
