Zero is seeking a Business Analyst (Product) who knows how to turn broad product vision and direction into very specific requirements for the engineering team to build.
The Business Analyst will work with the Product Team to research, articulate and present product requirements to help drive engineering activities. Our Business Analyst will be at the center of our most important conversations, capturing requirements, distilling complex ideas, and tracking decisions paramount to our success.
Your focus will be:
- Works with the rest of the product team to fully define and prioritize what we will build
- Uses various forms of feedback (user testing, a/b testing, interviews, etc.) to help define the product
- Turns the product definition into "requirements" that will determine the criteria by which we will measure the finished product
- Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements
- Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks to communicate trade-offs to all stakeholders
- Liaise between the product team and the technical team through the medium of task requirements
- Help to break down tasks and make sure that requirements are clearly defined
- Interact with the technical team while work is being done to clarify requirements
- Provide clarity to the technical team when requirements are ambiguous or missing
- Document decisions that have been made and communicate to the rest of the product team
- Understanding the overall product vision and road map and translating that into clear, measurable and achievable direction
- Proficient with common process and design tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, etc
- Multiple sprints of backlog defined for each team
- Defined product roadmap for the project
- Agile. Proven experience working in scrum/agile environments.
- Web 3.0 Native. You are a gamer, NFT collector and passionate about the Metaverse.
- Techie. You are passionate for building leading edge technologies.
- Been there, done that. You have proven experience and success in product design, requirements gathering and presentation. 3-5 years proven experience in a business analyst.
- Communicator Extraordinaire. You are an expert at understanding, and being understood.
- Demonstrated passion and deep understanding of emerging trends within the industry via participation in web 3.0 or other forms of self-directed learning
- Strong ability to manage multiple timelines and processes while still being highly detailed-oriented
- Able to work comfortably with a significant amount of ambiguity with ability to provide clarity of direction despite this
