Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.Ā 
    • Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.Ā 
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of safety activities, including inspections, audit findings, training attendance, and incident reports.Ā 
    • Support on-site teams by clearly communicating safety expectations, requirements, and updates.Ā 
    • Help facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions as directed.Ā 
    • Observe daily work activities to ensure safe practices are followed and intervene when unsafe behaviors or conditions are identified.Ā 
    • Escalate compliance concerns or recurring issues to site manager and Safety Director in a timely and professional manner.Ā 
    • Travel between multiple sites as needed; valid driver's license and regular driving required.Ā 
    • Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.Ā 

Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety principles.Ā 
    • Ability to clearly communicate safety concerns and procedures both verbally and in writing.Ā 
    • Strong observational and documentation skills.Ā 
    • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.Ā 
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for recordkeeping and reporting.Ā 
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.Ā 

Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.Ā 
    • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.Ā 
    • Previous exposure to safety practices or relevant work environments is a plus.Ā 
    • Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR) are desirable.Ā 
    • Possess and maintain a clean driving record, as required by company policy and for eligibility to operate company vehicles.Ā 
    • Ability to obtain additional safety certifications as needed.
$65,000 - $70,000 a year
This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. As such, candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
