What you’ll do:

• Take a hands-on approach to Immerse yourself in Cake DeFi, gaining a deep understanding of our business and our customers
• Forge strong relationships across the Cake DeFi team
• Plan and drive multi-channel end-to-end brand marketing strategy
• Review current brand communications platforms, channels and activities to identify new opportunities, and look to implement best practices.
• Build out and deploy over time a clear and distinct brand communications strategy that separates us from the herd with simple, exciting concepts to attract new users and partners
• Distil complicated topics and matters in easy-to-digest formats for press, KOLs and influencers across platforms and channels
• Work alongside and partner with cross-functional teams such as Performance and Growth Marketing, CRM, Social Media and Community, Product, Operations, and Engineering to ensure cross-functional alignment and a streamlined customer experience.
• Protect and enhance the professional reputations of C-Suite and senior leadership team — as thought leaders within the industry.
• Be the gatekeeper and guardian of our Cake DeFi brand
• Manage and coordinate external agency partners to execute against goals to measure results
• Plan and measure performance OKRs to identify trends, revenue drivers and opportunities and present findings to the leadership team
• Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape and market trends while continuing to innovate storytelling and brand identity
• Produce and manage marketing content creation and content creators for website content, localized text/video/audio/images for global markets, video editing, audio recording, live streaming, and AMAs
• Lead, strategize, implement and optimize multi-channel 360-degree brand communications
• Create a robust editorial calendar spanning proactive media opportunities (thought leadership, brand comms, events etc.)

What you’ll need:

• Experience leading Brand and Comms in a crypto or blockchain startup
• Experience managing, expanding and maintaining the company's public image including the writing of press releases, blog posts and propagation to media outlets
• Expertise building rapport with local and international tech, finance, and crypto related media, both traditional and digital in our key markets
• The ability to select appropriate media according to respective strategic purposes and coordinate media events and interviews to increase positive exposure
• Experience monitoring and executing important events, with special emphasis on media relations and cooperation
• Maintaining an understanding of relevant news and trends regarding Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Finance, Tech, Entrepreneurship and Start-ups in the DACH and ASEAN region
• Manage, expand and maintain investor relationships
