Our Team
Creative is our product. Itâs at the center of everything Yuga does. This team is made up of multidisciplinary designers, illustrators, 3D artists, writers, art directors, and creative directors who work across all of our projects.
Who Weâre Looking For
Weâre seeking a collaborative, versatile, curious, and ambitious Copywriter whoâs excited to help grow Yuga and define a new industry. This role works across Yugaâs brands and teams on everything from site, social, and game UI copy to FAQs, blog posts, and internal-facing communications, so the ideal candidate is excited about raising the bar on copy no matter the project.
The Job
- Write! Craft high-quality, impactful copy to drive engagement across Yugaâs growing brands and build excitement for its communities.
- Translate complex, technical information into concise, clear, and compelling messaging across key Yuga channels.
- Contribute to C-suite comms content: speeches, op-eds, and other authored pieces.
- Co-manage and roll out Yugaâs singular brand voice and tone guidelines.
- Act as brand steward across all teams to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging messaging.
Your Skills
- 2+ years of professional writing experience in copywriting, journalism, communications, social media, content development, or marketing.
- The ability (and desire) to wordsmith one-line tweets, thousand-word FAQs, and everything in between.
- Deep engagement with whatever task is on hand so youâre not just a problem-solver, but a problem-finder â you can anticipate strategic and creative obstacles long before the final edit.
- Great at both receiving and giving feedback.
- An eye and enthusiasm for detail.
- Speed, agility, and comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving start-up culture. Whole-heartedly embrace the rough first draft.
- Comfort with writing and maintaining multiple brand voices at once.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and exercise excellent judgement.
Knowledge of web3, NFTs, and crypto is a bonus, but absolutely not required.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This position may also be eligible for salary increases, bonuses, equity awards, and benefits.
