We are looking for a Business Operations Lead to help drive the success of our BizOps & Analytics team. This role will report directly to our COO and will be an extension of our leadership team. This team touches every part of the business (from Marketing & HR to specific lines of business).
Broadly speaking, this team is responsible for building the growth-stage muscle for a rapid scaling startup: ensuring high performance and coordination across the business, providing data and insights to guide strategy & execution, and handling special projects. This is a role for someone who is excited to help scale one of the premier companies in crypto and make an immediate impact on the business.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Implement and manage sustainable, repeatable processes to support the leadership team and long-term growth of Ava Labs, including leading company-wide OKR/KPIs and collaborating with Finance on QBRs
- Collaborate with department leaders to define annual budgets and refine the strategy of their teams
- Manage our onchain analytics efforts and produce robust weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting
- Partner with our Chief of Staff to lead internal executive meetings and company all-hands
- Understand, develop, and execute strategies to improve the competitive positioning & product suite of Avalanche / Ava Labs
- Communicate & execute company directives cross-functionally, while working with all levels of seniority (ranging from analyst to C-Suite)
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Undergraduate degree in business, economics, or technical field
- 6-8+ years of work experience spanning startups, consulting, banking (or 5+ with graduate degree)
- Proven experience leading projects and initiatives end-to-end with limited oversight
- Experience working with & deriving insights from complex data (SQL experience beneficial but not required)
- Comfortable working in ambiguity
- Strong presentation skills
- High IQ/EQ
- Excitement for Web3 and familiarity with crypto (either personal or professional)
Salary Range: $121,800 to $152,200
