About this team

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Smart Contract Engineer with a strong background in NFT development to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Smart Contract Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining smart contracts that power our NFT ecosystem. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, you will create robust and scalable solutions for our platform. 

What you’ll help us build

• NFT Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart  contracts on blockchain networks, with a specific emphasis on NFTs. Implement best practices for code quality, security, and gas optimization. 

• NFT Architecture and Design: Collaborate with the product team to define the technical architecture and requirements for NFT-related features and functionalities. Drive innovation in NFT development and contribute to the evolution of our platform. 

• NFT Standards and Integrations: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technologies, NFT standards, and industry trends. Evaluate and integrate emerging protocols, standards, and third-party services into our NFT ecosystem. 

• Testing and Auditing: Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and auditing of smart contracts to  ensure functionality, security, and compliance with established standards. Implement automated testing frameworks and perform code reviews to maintain a robust and reliable codebase.

• Optimization and Scalability: Continuously optimize smart contracts for gas efficiency, scalability,  and performance. Identify and address bottlenecks and potential issues within the NFT ecosystem. Poses deep knowledge about AirDrops and the problems associated with them.

• Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and expertise in smart contract development and NFT-related matters. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional growth of the team. 

• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, coding standards, and best practices. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and contribute to the continuous learning of the team. 

Your craft

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Smart Contract Engineer, with a strong focus on NFT development.

• Expertise in blockchain technologies, Ethereum, and smart contract development.

• Expertise using hardhat, typescript for testing and deploying solidity smart contracts.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Vyper, or similar. 

• In-depth knowledge of NFT standards, including ERC-721, ERC-1155, and ERC-2535, Multi-Faceted Proxy, and associated tooling. 

• Experience in integrating and working with third-party NFT platforms, marketplaces, and protocols. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges.

• Attention to detail, ensuring code quality, security, and efficiency.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams. 

• A team player with a positive attitude, contributing to a cohesive and collaborative work environment. 

• Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements, research, and best 

  practices in blockchain and NFT technologies. 

• Willingness to learn new technologies, languages, and frameworks as required.

• Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts and protocols is a plus.
