nft now is looking for an experienced Full-time Editor who has a proven track record for creating engaging, error-free articles to join our growing team. This person will play a pivotal role in defining our editorial voice and uplifting perspectives at the intersection of NFTs, art, and culture.
In this role, you will help own article approval, writing, and editing; manage the writers’ day-to-day content priorities; and assist with the long-term editorial strategy and goal setting. Ideal candidates are comfortable with taking charge and have significant experience monitoring news and market trends across multiple data sources. Editors will be well-versed in nft now’s major beats and have a history of guiding writers to cover urgent news stories and impactful features that move the needle.
This is a full-time, remote position. To be considered for this role, please submit a cover letter, CV/Resume, and three recent writing clips.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with editorial management to drive the site content on a daily basis
- Monitor news and market trends using a variety of tools and sources (wire services, Google trends, Ahrefs, blockchain and NFT analytics tools, etc.)
- Approve, write, and edit daily content
- Actively engage the NFT community across relevant platforms and act as a thought leader in the space
Requirements
- 3 years of editing experience in a newsroom
- Must be Web3 native and have deep understanding of the Web3, nft, and crypto landscape.
- Familiarity working with a CMS and with SEO best practices
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Experience packaging stories for social media as well as experience with social platforms and scheduling tools
