We are seeking an experienced derivatives business professional to join our futures commission merchant (FCM) in order to grow the regulated derivatives business of Crypto.com.  This role will require you to advance the strategic and business objectives of the FCM by overseeing the operational readiness of the FCM and the launch of the FCM, which will offer margined derivative products.  After launch, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the FCM business.  The successful candidate will have derivatives and financial markets experience, including knowledge related to the operations and processes of an FCM, as well as FCM connectivity to exchanges and clearinghouses regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).  Knowledge of the rules of the National Futures Association (NFA) and the CFTC relevant to an FCM are also required.  This role presents a unique opportunity to help operate a new business line as part of the overall Crypto.com enterprise.

Responsibilities
 
·       Oversee the operational and technology activities of the FCM to provide customers with access to cleared derivatives products.
·       Work closely with the operations, technology, risk, legal and compliance team in order to work on the completion of the licensing process and the launch of the FCM.
·       Oversee the FCMs operational compliance with CFTC and NFA regulatory requirements.
·       Supervise the sales and marketing functions of the FCM.
·       Build and maintain strong relationships and be the point of contact for key partners, vendors and stakeholders.
·       Liaise with industry regulatory bodies and ensure all requirements, including daily and monthly reporting are completed.
 
Requirements and skills
 
·       Proven experience in a managerial position in the regulated derivatives industry.
·       Experience in the operations of an FCM and connectivity to DCMs, DCOs, and market infrastructures.
·       Familiarity with diverse business functions such as operations, technology, risk, marketing, sales,  finance, etc.
·       In-depth knowledge of the regulated derivatives markets including futures, forex, swaps and options and the cross-border offering of such products from the US. 
·       Knowledge or desire to gain in depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency and digital asset markets. 
·       An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational, problem solving and operational and technology skills.
·       Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
·       Eligibility to take and successfully complete the Series 3 National Commodity Futures Exam and NFA Swaps Proficiency courses.
