The Role  


We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Director/Product Manager to evolve and own the payments strategy, capability and operations.


If you see yourself as a leader passionate about driving change and developing innovative payment acceptance and processing solutions to make it easy and intuitive for customers to pay and get paid across all possible payment methods and modalities - we want to talk to you. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for providing the most advanced and efficient payment gateways in a rapidly evolving Crypto ecosystem. 


Expectations


  • Set the strategic direction and manage execution of various initiatives for implementing payment infrastructure and capabilities for a global customer base.
  • Bring strong techno-functional SME level experience across payments acceptance - gateways, ACH, Wire, Credit & Debit cards; as well as payment disbursements - bank transfer, VisaDirect, Mastercard send, RTP and other B2C & B2B payment methods.
  • Lead the future-proofing strategy for both inflows and outflows
  • Manage vendor relationships and SLAs while being engaged with innovators and disruptors in this space; continuously refresh vendor strategy
  • Develop frameworks for evaluating building a payment gateway 
  • Drive self-sufficiency, redundancy and efficiency through Payment optimization and risk management strategies
  • Develop detailed business requirements and work with agile development team to ensure on-time delivery
  • Set up governance to constantly evaluate if our solutions have solved the problem through quantitative and qualitative measurements, both in beta’s and after full release;
  • Build a high performing team to expand on card product offerings in multiple Geographies



Requirements


Business Directors at Celsius are empowered to realize business objectives and break barriers.  The candidate for this role must be comfortable making recommendations and tough decisions, possess strong communications and facilitation skills, and, most importantly, have a strong desire to succeed.


A suitable candidate should have / be:

  • 10-15 years of experience in leading payments strategy and functions for accepting inbound and outbound payments 
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing or managing new payment gateways, switches for eCommerce, mCommerce covering both CP and CNP flows
  • Must understand business functions, technical capabilities and vendors across payments acceptance lifecycle including merchant accounts, POS/provisioning, security, compliance, transaction processing, settlement, chargebacks, fraud, etc.,
  • Must bring expertise in payout methodologies and/or remittances, push to card, alias based payments, P2P etc.,
  • Experience working with leading Fintechs, Banks, Acquirers, Processors, networks etc.,  in working through product definition, capability evaluations,vendor selection,  implementation & integration
  • Experience in vendor management, contracting, pricing & negotiations
  • Experience in international markets, mobile payments a plus
  • Experience with agile methodology and development; Hands on experience using Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence) is a plus 
  • Experience working with large group of stakeholders (internal and external) and business teams
  • Experience developing business requirement and managing execution per roadmap
