Due to the continual success and growth plans for2022, we are looking to speak with QA Engineer - Automation across our network.
What is involved?
You will be working with the Head of Engineering who will be managing and leading the technical implementation of the Engineering team. We are looking for software engineers that will help us maintain and improve the existing project codebases, develop new features for trace solutions, and build new products from the ground up.
You will have the runway to:
- Maintain and grow the library of automated test-specs for the web-application, the mobile app, the backend APIs, etc. Sketch out and prioritize ideas for missing test cases.
- Knowledge of load and performance testing and experience of using load/performance frameworks.
- Maintain existing CI pipelines on Github and know how to create new.
- Develop and maintain the internal test library.
- Be in sync with the current development roadmap to understand the new changes and functionalities that are being added and must be checked and tested explicitly.
- Provide feedback on the stability and quality of the application and new functionalities, help developers diagnose and understand any detected problems.
- Help with manual testing when it is necessary.
- Any scripting to improve local manual testing is very welcomed.
- Reviewing bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Participate in product meetings.

What kind of experience and skills are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in QA.
- 3+ years of experience in automation development.
- Experience with web-app and mobile app testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Appium or other automation frameworks.
- Strong HTML, XPATH, and CSS knowledge.
- Experience with SQL databases on the level of being able to query a DB to verify the state.
- Experience with HTTP/REST on the level of being able to make API requests manually and programmatically to test internal APIs and 3rd party API integrations.
- Experience with dev introspection tools being able to monitor the app state and activity during the manual testing process, both for web and mobile.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line to be able to build and run projects locally.
- Experience with CI/ CD systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills (English).
- Experience developing utility scripts, tools, or libraries (provided on GitHub or some other repository).
- Experience working with Git and GitHub.
- Bash scripting skills.
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals.
Bonus
- Dev experience with any other non JS language (Python, Java, C#, Rust, etc, any).
- Expertise with Javascript (Flow or Typescript is a bonus).
