Rockstar is recruiting for a foundation dedicated to supporting the growth and sustainability of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. This client is committed to fostering an open and fair financial system by driving value in key areas such as Protocol and Innovation, Developers, Governance, Research, and Security.

The foundation is seeking a DeFi Growth Manager to lead the growth and adoption of DeFi protocols on Unichain, with a focus on unlocking high-impact opportunities across the Superchain.

This role involves turning strategy into traction. The individual will work at the intersection of product, partnerships, and growth to expand the ecosystem by assisting DeFi projects in building, scaling, and succeeding on Unichain. The role requires hands-on involvement in shaping liquidity strategies, growing adoption of Uniswap v4 hooks, and advancing Unichain's role in the broader Superchain landscape.

What the Role Entails:

- Drive DeFi Growth on Unichain: Lead initiatives that help DeFi protocols launch and scale on Unichain. Identify high-potential partners and work closely with them to unlock new growth through Hooks and protocol-native opportunities.

- Develop and Execute Liquidity Strategies: Design and implement liquidity mining programs tailored to the unique needs of different user segments. Create a stacked liquidity mining strategy across Superchain ecosystems.

- Lead Superchain Interop and Liquidity Efforts: Build a roadmap and strategy for seamless interoperability and liquidity across Superchain chains, making Unichain the go-to DeFi hub.

- Own Key Relationships: Maintain and deepen warm relationships with top-tier DeFi and infrastructure partners. Help them understand and utilize the latest capabilities, especially Uniswap v4 and Hooks.

- Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with product, ecosystem, and engineering teams to prioritize integrations and push forward high-leverage opportunities that drive measurable adoption.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

- 4+ years in DeFi, crypto partnerships, or product growth with a focus on protocol or infrastructure level strategy.

- A deep understanding of DeFi protocols, onchain liquidity, and user behavior in EVM-based ecosystems.

- Strong understanding of Uniswap v4 and Superchain interop is required.

- Experience designing and executing liquidity mining or incentive programs focused on liquidity growth.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between product, technical, and partner-facing contexts.

- Entrepreneurial energy and a bias toward action. Ability to build from scratch and scale fast.

- A strategic mindset paired with the operational skills to execute and follow through.

About the Foundation:

In pursuit of a more open and fair financial system, the foundation supports the growth, decentralization, and sustainability of the community. Through grants, they drive value in five key focus areas: Protocol and Innovation, Developers, Governance, Research, and Security.
