We're hiring a Senior Motion Designer who cares deeply about craft and wants to build something from the ground up. You'll define and own KAST's entire motion identity from scratch, and you'll set the standard for how our brand moves, from motion language and 3D systems to go-to-market films and product animations. You won't be executing someone else's vision; you'll be creating it. This is a founding creative role, and we want motion you can actually feel, with considered timing, restrained easing, and a real finish in every frame.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build KAST's motion identity from the ground up, defining the principles, systems, and language that scale across every touchpoint
  • Produce a wide range of motion work: brand films, campaign videos, product animations, go-to-market assets, and social content
  • Create and art-direct 3D work using Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, and similar tools, pushing the quality bar at every turn
  • Collaborate with the Senior Brand & Digital Designer and the wider creative team so motion feels like a natural extension of the visual identity
  • Bring storyboard ideas to life quickly, using AI tools to speed up ideation and pre-vis without sacrificing craft in the final execution
  • Edit and post-produce video content end-to-end where needed, from rough cut to colour and audio
  • Bring your own ideas and initiatives to the table. You won't wait to be briefed; you'll come in with a point of view

What You'll Bring

  • 6 to 10+ years of motion design experience, most of it built inside advertising agencies working on world-class brands
  • A showreel that shows exceptional craft across 2D motion, 3D, and film. Quality over quantity
  • Deep proficiency in Cinema 4D, After Effects, and the broader Adobe Creative Suite; Unreal Engine experience is a strong plus
  • A genuine understanding of brand systems, so you think in motion language rather than just individual deliverables
  • Familiarity with AI-powered workflows (such as generative tools and storyboard acceleration) and a clear-eyed view of where they help and where craft still wins
  • A self-starter mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, energised by ownership, and able to operate without a playbook
  • Strong attention to detail, with an almost obsessive eye for timing, easing, and finish
  • Fluency across After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere Pro, and Figma; renderer experience with Octane and/or Redshift

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in fintech, crypto, or with major financial brands
  • In-house experience at a tech company, so you understand how product, engineering, and creative teams work together
  • Editing and grading skills in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro
  • Experience with real-time 3D environments or interactive motion (Unreal, TouchDesigner, and the like)
  • Familiarity with Kling 2.0, Runway, or similar AI video and motion tools used in a professional pipeline
