The Finance team at Binance is at the heart of every strategic and operational decision, partnering closely with all business units and regions to fuel growth and innovation. We are looking for a Senior Finance & Tax Manager to lead finance and tax operations for our regulated entity and also the shared service entities in Brazil. This role requires strong expertise in Brazilian tax and solid experience in financial management within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Tax

  • Lead all Brazilian tax compliance, reporting and planning, including: IRPJ/CSLL, PIS/COFINS, and ISS/ICMS (as applicable)

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of ECF, ECD, DCTF, EFD-Contribuições, and other SPED obligations

  • Manage tax audits, inspections, and assessments with authorities

  • Monitor and interpret changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess business impact

  • Drive tax optimization strategies aligned with compliance and business objectives

  • Oversee tax provisioning and effective tax rate management

Finance & Accounting

  • Oversee monthly closing process under BR GAAP/IFRS

  • Ensure integrity of financial statements and internal reporting

  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes

  • Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements

  • Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory bodies (e.g., Central Bank, CVM, SUSEP depending on entity type)

  • Support regulatory filings and interactions with authorities

  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams on regulatory matters

International & Strategic Support (Nice to Have)

  • Provide support on cross-border transactions and structuring

  • Assist with international tax considerations, particularly within LatAm

  • Coordinate with global teams on: transfer pricing, intercompany transactions and tax reporting

Business Partnering

  • Act as a key partner to senior leadership on: tax implications of new products (e.g., crypto, payments, digital services) and business expansion strategies

  • Support decision-making with financial and tax insights

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field

  • Strong experience in Brazilian tax (mandatory)

  • Proven experience in:  tax compliance, financial reporting, working in regulated environments

  • Experience managing audits and dealing with tax authorities

  • Fluent in Portuguese & English 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High level of ownership and accountability

  • Ability to navigate complex and evolving regulatory environments

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business

Nice to Have

  • Experience with international tax (LATAM preferred)

  • Exposure to: fintech/payments/crypto industries/cross-border structures

  • Knowledge of transfer pricing and inter-company flows
