Type of employment

Full-time

About The Role

As a Customer Success Engineer / Solutions Architect at Crossmint, you will work directly with our most important enterprise and high-growth customers to ensure they successfully design, launch, and scale production applications on top of Crossmint’s infrastructure.
This is a deeply technical, customer-facing role that blends solution design, hands-on implementation, and strategic advisory. You will act as a trusted technical partner to customer engineering teams while collaborating closely with Product, Platform, and Go-To-Market teams internally.
You will operate across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases, helping customers move from concept to production and beyond.

What You Will Do

Own technical success for key customers: act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise and strategic accounts.
Design end to end solutions: architect integrations using Crossmint’s APIs, wallets, payments, tokenization, and compliance primitives.
Build and prototype: develop proofs of concept, middleware, scripts, or lightweight applications to accelerate customer adoption.
Guide production deployments: support customers through go-live, scaling, observability, and performance tuning.
Translate customer needs into product insight: surface patterns, gaps, and opportunities to Product and Engineering teams.
Serve as a technical advisor: lead architecture reviews, implementation walkthroughs, and best practice sessions with customer teams.
Automate and scale: build internal tools, scripts, or workflows using automation and AI to improve delivery velocity and reliability.
Champion customer health: proactively identify risks, unblock issues, and drive long-term customer success and expansion.
Operate with high ownership: manage complex, high-stakes engagements in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.

About You

You are a senior engineer who enjoys working directly with customers and solving real-world problems. You are comfortable owning outcomes, not just delivering code.
You bring:
6+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, or similar roles.
Strong experience with APIs and integrations, including REST APIs, authentication flows, webhooks, and SDKs.
Proficiency in TypeScript or Python, with working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React.
Hands-on web3 experience, including wallets, tokenization, or blockchain-based systems.
Experience writing and deploying smart contracts, such as ERC721, ERC1155, ERC20, or similar standards.
Comfort operating in customer-facing environments, including working directly with engineers, product leaders, and executives.
Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
High autonomy and adaptability, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively.
A strong interest in programmable wallets, stablecoins, and agent-driven commerce.

Strong Plus If You Have

Prior experience as a Solutions Architect, Customer Success Engineer, Partner Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
Experience supporting enterprise or regulated customers in fintech, crypto, or payments.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog or Sentry.
Experience contributing to SDKs, middleware, or developer platforms.
Experience using automation and AI tools such as scripting, Zapier, or AI copilots to scale delivery.
Contributions to web3 open-source projects or production crypto systems.
This list is a guide, not a checklist. You do not need to meet every requirement to be a strong candidate.

Why Join Crossmint?

You will work at the intersection of customer success, engineering, and product, helping some of the most ambitious companies in fintech and crypto build onchain systems at scale. This role offers real ownership, deep technical exposure, and the opportunity to shape how Crossmint delivers value to its largest customers.

Compensation & Benefits

Highly competitive location-based compensation.
Stock options program.
Unlimited, flexible PTO.
Flexible work schedule.
Company laptop and allowance for any necessary home equipment.
Daily stipend for commuting to the office.
Company-paid trips for annual off-sites and onsites.
Insurance covered by Crossmint.
401(k) Plan (US only).

Our Principles

Results and delivery: Ship high quality work fast.
Build for the long term: Build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. Use AI.
Extreme Ownership: Be an effective Directly Responsible Individual (DRI). Be proactive.
Be a team player: Be an effective and kind colleague providing credible challenge. Be present and reliable.
Talent research indicates that women are often less inclined than men to apply for a role unless they have experience in 100% of the listed skills. However, this list is only a guide. We welcome your application even if you feel you meet around 75% of the requirements. At Crossmint, we believe skills can be learned, and diversity makes us stronger.
We work to foster a respectful environment where each person can be their authentic self, free from harassment, racism, and any form of discrimination. We proudly uphold our commitment to diversity and inclusion as an equal opportunity employer, and this policy applies to all employment practices within our organization.
Please note that Crossmint never conducts AI-based interviews, and all of our processes include an initial video call with a team member. Crossmint will not request your personal identification documents or any payment at any point during your interview process. Please stay vigilant about potential fraud. If you receive an email that claims to be from Crossmint but ends with any domain other than @crossmint.com, @crossmint.io or @paella.dev, it is not from us. We own these three domains listed before, and they are the only legitimate ones.
Please let our Talent Team know if you need any assistance completing any forms, or participating in the process.
