Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting System & Process Management
- Formulate and improve the company’s accounting management system, accounting standards, and operating procedures, combining the company’s business characteristics (digital currency trading, payment settlement) and global accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP), to standardize the entire accounting process.
- Optimize the accounting workflow, improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting work, ensure that daily accounting business (including transaction confirmation, voucher preparation, bookkeeping, and reconciliation) is completed in a timely and standardized manner.
- Supervise the management of accounting documents and vouchers, ensure the completeness, authenticity, and traceability of accounting records, and standardize the sorting, filing, and preservation of financial data.
- Coordinate with the IT team to optimize the financial accounting system, improve the automation level of accounting work, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the financial system.
2. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee the company’s daily financial accounting work, including the accounting treatment of digital currency transactions, fund settlement, user asset management, operating income and expenses, fixed assets, and other businesses, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting data.
- Organize the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, etc.), ensure that the financial statements comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and provide true and reliable financial data for the company’s management decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis on the company’s operating results, financial status, and cash flow, identify financial problems and potential risks, and put forward targeted optimization suggestions.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit institutions to complete annual financial audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections, provide relevant financial materials and explanations, and ensure the smooth progress of audit work.
3. Tax Compliance & Management
- Familiar with global tax policies (including corporate income tax, value-added tax, digital asset-related taxes, etc.) and regulatory requirements, formulate the company’s tax management plan and tax planning strategy, and ensure that tax work complies with local tax laws and regulations.
- Organize the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations, tax calculations, and tax payments, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of tax declarations, and avoid tax risks and penalties.
- Handle tax-related matters such as tax registration, tax filing, tax inspection, and tax appeal, maintain good communication with tax authorities, and respond to tax inquiries and inspections in a timely manner.
- Carry out reasonable tax planning on the premise of compliance, reduce the company’s tax burden, and improve the company’s financial benefits.
4. Fund & Asset Management
- Oversee the company’s fund management, including fund receipt and payment, fund reconciliation, fund supervision, and cash flow forecasting, ensure the safety and liquidity of company funds, and support the smooth operation of the company’s business.
- Responsible for the accounting and management of company assets (including digital assets, fixed assets, current assets, etc.), organize regular asset inventory, ensure the consistency of book assets and actual assets, and prevent asset loss.
- Supervise the accounting treatment of user assets, ensure that user funds and digital assets are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies, and protect user asset safety.
5. Team Management & Development
- Build, manage, and develop the accounting team, formulate team OKRs, performance assessment standards, and talent training plans, and improve the team’s professional capabilities (accounting, tax, financial reporting, etc.).
- Arrange daily work assignments for the team, supervise work progress, solve work difficulties, and create a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Guide team members’ professional growth, organize professional training (accounting standards, tax policies, digital asset accounting, etc.), and cultivate a professional accounting talent echelon.
- Manage team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, motivate team members to achieve work goals, and retain core talents.
6. Cross-departmental Collaboration & Compliance Support
- Communicate closely with trading, compliance, risk control, operations, and other departments to understand business needs, coordinate financial and accounting-related work, and ensure that accounting work is closely aligned with business development.
- Cooperate with the compliance team to complete financial compliance work, ensure that accounting work complies with global regulatory frameworks (FATF, MiCA, local regulations), and provide financial support for compliance audits and regulatory reporting.
- Provide financial consulting and support for other departments, answer questions related to accounting and tax, and assist in solving financial-related problems in business operations.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of financial accounting and management work experience, including 3+ years of accounting team management experience; preferred experience in fintech, digital currency, payment, or financial institutions. Deep understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and tax management in related industries, and familiar with digital asset accounting and fund settlement business.
- Professional Expertise:
- Proficient in accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP) and financial accounting processes, with rich experience in full-set accounting and financial reporting.
- Familiar with global tax policies and regulations, especially digital asset-related tax policies, with rich tax declaration and tax planning experience.
- Proficient in using financial accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Kingdee, etc.) and office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong data analysis and report preparation capabilities.
- Familiar with financial compliance requirements related to digital currency exchanges, able to ensure that accounting work complies with regulatory requirements.
- Understand the business model of digital currency trading and payment, and be able to handle accounting-related issues in core business links.

- Has experience in coordinating external audits (Big 4 accounting firms) and regulatory inspections, and is proficient in handling audit and regulatory-related matters.
