Data Analytics & Research (DAR) has the mission to deliver high-quality data metrics and apply rigorous analytics for decision-making and innovation. We transform data into actionable insights across the organization.

In this role your scope will include:

  • Law Enforcement & Regulatory Support: Handle data extraction and analysis for Law Enforcement Requests (LER), Regulatory Reports, and Audits.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Design, develop, and maintain systems to detect and report suspicious activity.
  • Risk Strategy: Translate complex regulatory requirements into technical data specifications and actionable tools.

Who You Are 

An Analytics Scientist with 3+ years of experience who can own the analytics work for our Compliance area: designing data models, defining complex KPIs for risk monitoring, building insightful dashboards, and leading advanced analytics that ensure our platform remains secure and compliant with global and local regulations. A trusted partner to Legal, Compliance, and Engineering teams that brings strong judgment and clear communication.

  • Experience: 3+ years in data analytics roles.
  • Compliance Context: Familiarity with common compliance practices; understanding the types of data and analysis used for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Regulation.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with key compliance concepts such as PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), High-Risk classifications, AML patterns (e.g., structuring), and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence).
  • SQL & Data Quality: Advanced SQL proficiency to extract, validate, and shape data for analysis and reporting ; strong discipline and attention to detail regarding data quality checks.
  • BI & Storytelling: Experience building decision-oriented dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), with strong narrative and usability.
  • Advanced Analytics for Compliance:
    • Ability to apply analytics to diagnose and generate risk alerts.
    • Capability to identify suspicious patterns.
    • Ability to perform deep-dives into user behavior.

  • Metrics & Modeling: Experience defining and documenting complex KPIs and working with semantic/modeling layers (e.g., LookML/table modeling).
  • Data Tools: Experience working with either Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication; effective partner to Compliance and Engineering, able to present clearly to senior stakeholders.

Education & Language

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience in Compliance specific roles
  • Experience with Databricks/Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Familiarity with Git/version control and analytics engineering practices (tests, code review).
  • Prior experience in experimentation platforms, event instrumentation, or product analytics frameworks.

What You Will Do 

  • Data Modeling & Metrics: Build and maintain semantic/data models to power consistent reporting and define complex KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Be the main point of contact for the Compliance team, owning the end-to-end analytics loop from request intake to implementation.
  • Dashboards & Decision Support: Develop and iterate on interactive dashboards that highlight performance and establish monitoring views/alerts to detect anomalies in key metrics.
  • Advanced Analytics & Insights: Lead deep-dives to uncover root causes, quantify opportunities, and propose actions while turning ambiguous questions into structured analytical plans.
