<span >As part of the Localization team in Design, your work will have a real impact on Bitso's mission to make crypto useful, ensuring that our content effectively resonates with and suits the needs of our Mexican users. Based on your linguistic expertise and deep understanding of the country's context, you'll translate/edit/proofread the EN <> es_MX UI content to make sure that it delivers a strong local experience.

Who You Are
- Native speaker of Mexican Spanish
- Proficient level of English
- Bachelor's degree in Languages or Translation
- Relevant experience in the localization industry
- Strong translation, writing, and editing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with CAT tools, QA tools and machine translation systems
- Knowledge of terminology, translation memory and project management
- Ability to take on challenging projects, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese is a plus
What You Will Do
- Provide high-quality English <> Mexican Spanish translations (and vice-versa) for our products, communications and other touch points.
- Edit and proofread both es_MX and EN content.
- Work closely with the Design team to adapt our products to the local market and fix linguistic and market-specific issues before launch.
- Translate/edit/proofread Marketing copies and other content types.
- Identify key improvements in the existing es_MX content in our platforms.
- Maintain and improve our Style Guide and Glossary for Mexico.
- Assess the quality of outsourced translations and provide improvement recommendations.
- Help refine our localization processes based on the needs of each team to adapt to an ever-changing business.
