The Company:

Our client is an early-stage start-up revolutionizing the crypto and Web3 space by building a crypto portfolio managed by AI agents. With a vision to redefine how digital assets are managed, they are on a mission to create the future of decentralized finance and AI-powered investments. As they grow, they are looking for a talented, motivated, and hands-on Founding Staff Engineer to join their core team. This is a unique opportunity to get in early at a high-impact start-up and directly shape the technical architecture and products that will drive the company’s success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or other Web3 frameworks to manage and optimize crypto portfolios.
  • Work with zk-SNARKs, ZK-coprocessors, and other privacy-preserving technologies to enhance the system’s scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of decentralized financial systems using blockchain technologies.
  • Design and implement highly scalable backend systems using traditional tools like Python, Django, Postgres, AWS, Celery, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, as well as Web3 technologies (Rust, Go).
  • Work on integrating AI agents with backend systems, ensuring seamless communication and execution of portfolio management strategies.
  • Be an integral part of shaping the company’s future, influencing both the product and company culture.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with smart contract development (Solidity, Rust, or other Web3 frameworks).
  • Strong proficiency in backend development and experience with modern backend languages and tools (Python, Django, Postgres, AWS, Celery, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with ZK-coprocessors, zk-SNARKs, and other privacy-preserving technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Comfortable working in both traditional and Web3 ecosystems, with an understanding of blockchain scalability, security, and performance issues.
  • A passion for the Web3 space, crypto, and decentralized technologies.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience working in start-ups or fast-growing companies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
