What you will do:  Strategy Creation

Assist in the development and execution of strategies and plans for Stake.com’s esports sponsorship portfolio.   Coordinate the end-to-end process of sponsorships, from initial negotiation to post-event evaluation.  Work closely with the wider Sponsorship team and the Legal and Compliance department to ensure all sponsorship deliverables are strategically tailored to the respective partnerships and agreements are carefully reviewed, documented, and fulfilled. 

Communication and Relationship Management

Ensure timely and effective verbal as well as written communication with external sponsorship stakeholders i.e. partners and agencies.  Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, understanding mutual sponsorship goals and prioritizing Stake.com’s marketing strategies and objectives.  Collaborate with internal teams and departments to convey sponsorship requirements and ensure alignment with overall marketing goals. 

Activations Planning and Execution

Collaborate with respective external sponsorship account managers to ideate and execute unique and high-engagement activations into the overall marketing department goals.  Ensure that Stake.com receives the agreed-upon visibility and benefits during the term of the partnership.  Coordinate logistics related to sponsorships, including any activations set up, promo offers and other promotional materials. 

Content development

Work alongside the Affiliates team, Social Media team, Design team, Product team as well as the SEO and Promotions team to create promotional materials and content for brand partners. Ensure that all sponsorship-related content is aligned with the overall marketing strategy and effectively communicates the respective brand message. 

Data Management and Analysis

Review, analyze and report on the performance of sponsorships, deliverables, event activations, providing insights and recommendations.  Periodically track and report on KPIs related to sponsorship activities. 

Budget Management

Assist in the development and management of sponsorship budgets, by creatively finding ways to add value to the overall sponsorship strategy.  Collaborate closely with the Finance department in monitoring spending to ensure they align with approved budgets and provide regular updates to the reporting managers.

Research and Innovation

Stay informed about industry trends in the esports, live streaming, iGaming and cryptocurrency, category. Understanding where the value is in terms of publishers, games, tournament organisers, geos, teams versus eyeballs and visibility for Stake - from a short-term as well as long-term perspective. 

What you will bring:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in marketing, esports management, business, or equivalent practical experience.  Extensive hands-on experience in esports marketing and management. A comprehensive understanding of the global esports landscape of both top esports titles (LoL, CS2, Dota2) as well as growing titles (Valorant, MLBB, Free Fire, PUBG mobile, etc.). Extensive active network within esports players, teams, TOs and publishers. Proven and strong track record of sponsorship deals within the esports ecosystem (either buying or selling), preferably with betting elements in place. Strong problem-solving skills, eager to tackle challenges and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and other relevant marketing tools.  Experience in social media campaigns, specifically on platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch and Kick.com.  Copywriting expertise with a particular emphasis on esports and entertainment. 

Bonus points if you also have:

Understanding the betting ecosystem within the sportsbook and casino category. Language skills: Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese or Russian.
