Job Summary
Research Analysts are responsible for writing technical and educational articles for our 'Explained' series at Dewhales Research, which we share on Twitter, Substack, and DeBank. DeBank, our primary social media platform, typically generates an average of 500 likes, 200 retweets, and 150 comments per post. Our followers on DeBank collectively represent approximately $1.5 billion in TVL.


This position requires a blend of critical thinking, industry expertise, and writing skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the crypto landscape and tokenomics, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of producing in-depth analyses of Web3 projects. Additionally, the role will involve creating short, engaging posts and tweets to keep our social media platforms active.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write our technical articles for the 'Explained' series.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Web3 projects, applying expertise in tokenomics and the crypto landscape.
  • Generate valuable content that engages Dewhales' audience on social media platforms.
  • Maintain an active presence and engagement across social media.
  • Use critical thinking to break down complex topics and make them accessible and informative.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in the crypto industry, preferably in a researcher or analyst role.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Expertise analyzing and/or designing tokenomics. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work with startups and guide them through growth stages.
  • Strong network within the crypto and blockchain community.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Optional: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
