PR and Communications Associate
What You Will Do
- You will play a key role shaping and executing Bitwise’s media and communications strategy.
- You will partner with Bitwise’s PR firm to secure and coordinate press opportunities, keeping them apprised of firm initiatives, upcoming content, and key priorities.
- You will help coordinate announcements in the US with our colleagues and PR firms in Europe.
- You will facilitate successful appearances for Bitwise spokespersons, working with Bitwise’s PR firm to schedule media coaching, provide salient talking points, and manage logistics where needed.
- You will draft high-quality press releases (2x-4x/month) highlighting company milestones, product launches, new publications, and other noteworthy developments, collecting input from executives.
- You will regularly draft social posts, emails, and other written content to amplify company news and boost engagement with crypto enthusiasts.
- You will generate new ideas to raise Bitwise brand awareness, whether through new content, events, platforms, media appearances, etc.
- You’ll be a team player, ready to roll up your sleeves and help wherever you can.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- You are a very strong writer, clear thinker, and proactive worker—exhibiting an aptitude for both strategic thinking and detail-oriented execution.
- You have a strong knowledge of and passion for crypto and familiarity with its media ecosystem—prevailing narratives, top publications, key podcasts, etc. You’re a daily user of Twitter (”X”).
- You have 5+ years of experience in corporate communications and/or journalism, with a keen understanding of storytelling and what makes for a compelling headline.
- You have exceptional time management, organizational, and self-motivation abilities. Your work ethic is a source of pride. You know how to prioritize tasks and to deliver projects on time.
