About Chainlink
Chainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing the capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance (DeFi). The Chainlink stack provides the essential data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy standards needed to power advanced blockchain use cases for institutional tokenized assets, lending, payments, stablecoins, and more. Since inventing decentralized oracle networks, Chainlink has enabled tens of trillions in transaction value and now secures the vast majority of DeFi.

Many of the world’s largest financial services institutions have also adopted Chainlink’s standards and infrastructure, including Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, S&P Dow Jones Indices, FTSE Russell, WisdomTree, ANZ, and top protocols such as Aave, Lido, GMX and many others. Chainlink leverages a novel fee model where offchain and onchain revenue from enterprise adoption is converted to LINK tokens and stored in a strategic Chainlink Reserve. Learn more at chain.link.

About The Role

This role exists to own and evolve the full operational layer of the NOP network, including the tooling, infrastructure, and standards that enable both internal teams and external operators to run it effectively. As the network grows, so does the opportunity to build systems and processes that make it more scalable, reliable, and consistent.

You'll define the strategy, drive the roadmap, and deliver the operational infrastructure that lets the NOP network scale efficiently. Success looks like a network that operates with high reliability, reduced manual overhead, and a professionalized operator experience.

Your Impact

  • Build the infrastructure and operational standards that determine the reliability and scalability of a platform securing the majority of DeFi, powering every Chainlink product, and serving some of the world's largest financial institutions

  • Shape how hundreds of developers and teams building on Chainlink experience the network, and how confidently they can depend on it as they scale

  • Design the operational model and automation that lets the NOP network grow efficiently, directly influencing how Chainlink delivers on its next phase of institutional and protocol adoption

  • Ship tooling that gives internal teams and Node Operators the capabilities they need to move faster, operate with greater confidence, and spend less time on friction that slows the network down

  • Establish the documentation and standards that the broader operator ecosystem will build on for years

Requirements

  • Proven end-to-end ownership of infrastructure or operational products, including defining product direction and delivering outcomes in complex technical environments

  • Demonstrated ability to automate or systematically reduce manual operational workflows at scale

  • Comfortable setting up, maintaining, and improving operational systems and workflows and able to make pragmatic tooling choices that serve the team without over-engineering the process

  • Able to engage as a peer with engineers on technical infrastructure decisions, with the ability to interpret technical architecture and influence tooling and infrastructure decisions

  • Proven ability to own structured communications to external partners or operator communities

  • Experience operating across multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously, including internal teams and external partners

  • Track record of influencing and delivering outcomes across teams without direct authority

  • Experience navigating ambiguous environments and building structured processes where none previously existed

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working in crypto, blockchain infrastructure, or node/validator operations environments

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or node hardware environments, with enough technical grounding to set direction alongside engineering teams

  • Experience building or owning internal tooling such as portals, dashboards, or workflow systems

  • Exposure to working alongside data science and engineering teams on automation or optimization initiatives
