The Role Head of Marketing As Head of Marketing at the Wormhole Foundation, you will be responsible for all aspects of marketing the Wormhole ecosystem.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading our marketing team and developing/executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive the adoption and growth of our multichain products. This role reports into the Co-Founder.   The Responsibilities

Support and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with ecosystem-wide goals and industry trends Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaboration. Create compelling narratives that effectively communicate our value proposition to a diverse institutional and retail base  Oversee the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content, event, and PR initiatives and align efforts with performance marketing plans. Collaborate closely with product, sales, and business development teams to ensure marketing efforts support overall business objectives Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to maximize marketing impact and efficiency Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and campaign performance to continuously refine marketing strategies Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources Act as a thought leader and brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and in media engagements Other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate

8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in both Web3 and traditional sectors You have excellent communication skills and have experience of developing effective working relationships at  senior levels across all functions Highly motivated, creative, and results-driven self-starter with a passion for crypto  Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the broader fintech landscape Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams Data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics and performance measurement Adaptability and agility to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry Strong network within the finance and crypto communities Ideally, based in the Americas or European time zones. Thrive in a high agency and high ownership environment.
