About the role:
We are looking for a Trading Operations Associate to join our trading team. You will contribute to the development and execution of our Trading operational flows, streamlining processes to support the growth of our Trading business. 

Responsibilities

    • Provide trade support to the trading desks, perform trade bookings, trade matching, balance and position reconciliations, P&L attributions
    • Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, delays, and other problems presented throughout the trade life cycle
    • Perform fund operations and settlement checks
    • Liaise with Treasury and other external parties on fund transfer matters
    • Streamline and document the funding operations workflow, implement controls to monitor and optimize funding usage
    • Analyze trading performance vs working capital usage, devise appropriate funding allocation methodologies across trading strategies using a systematic, data driven approach
    • Assist in adhoc/urgent requests from the trading desks relating to trade bookings or funding requests
    • Engage with developers on projects that further enhance system infrastructure and controls

Requirements

    • Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or Quantitative discipline
    • 3+ years of working experience on the Trading floor or in relevant functions such as Middle Office, Product Control or Risk in a financial services or crypto trading firm
    • Have knowledge in SQL and Python and an interest to expand your technical skills
    • Logical with strong analytical skills, detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy while able to grasp the big picture
    • Positive and proactive with good problem-solving skills
    • A product owner, results oriented, think outside of the box and can deliver under pressure
    • Think critically and strive for continuous improvement
    • Thrive to work in a dynamic environment, passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain
