About the Role:
We’re looking for a Product Operations Lead to help build and scale the operational backbone of our Product organization. As our first dedicated Product Ops hire, you’ll work closely with the Chief Product Officer and play a pivotal role in shaping how we operate - from planning and execution to insights and iteration.
As a member of the Business Operations team, this is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, process, and data. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design,GTM and other key teams to drive clarity, accountability, and operational excellence. If you’re energized by building from 0→1, love connecting dots across systems, and want to help a growing team operate at its best, we’d love to connect.
Your Impact:
Establish and drive core product operating rhythms, including roadmap planning, sprint execution, release coordination, and retrospectives to enable consistent, high-quality delivery.
Lead strategic, cross-functional programs with Product Leadership—such as quarterly planning, cross-product forums, and tracking of initiatives like platform modernization and compliance readiness.
Define, track, and operationalize product success metrics in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Data teams; create dashboards to inform decisions and improve visibility into product health and team velocity.
Introduce and maintain standardized documentation practices (e.g., specs, release notes, decision logs) to enhance knowledge sharing, streamline onboarding, and reduce silos.
Launch and manage a lightweight but effective Voice of the Customer or Feedback Operations program to ensure user and partner insights are consistently informing product strategy.
Requirements:
Strong analytical and operational skills: Able to define KPIs, analyze product data, build dashboards, and drive data-informed decisions.
5–8+ years of relevant experience: Background in Product Operations, Business Operations, or similar roles supporting product teams.
Process development and optimization: Experience designing and improving product development processes (e.g., roadmap planning, sprint rituals, release management).
Product lifecycle knowledge: Understanding of ideation through to launch and post-launch operations.
Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, and GTM stakeholders.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management: Skilled in communicating with senior leaders and influencing without authority.
Self-starter in ambiguous environments: Comfortable creating structure and building 0→1 processes in early-stage or scaling environments.
Preferred Requirements:
Blockchain/Web3 familiarity (preferred): Experience in crypto, decentralized systems, or on-chain products is a plus.
Tool fluency: Experience with platforms like Notion, JIRA, Asana, and Confluence.
Experience supporting technical product teams, working with regulated products, user research/feedback programs, or scaling startups.
All roles with Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based. Unless otherwise stated, we ask that you try to overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
