About the Team:

Product managers at Okcoin are the CEOs of their areas of focus. We develop growth-focused product strategies, manage cost/profitability and then deliver powerful strategies that guide customers through simple transaction workflows. We are building an integrated and beautiful crypto-finance experience for mobile and web. Product managers collaborate across business units and align user research, design, UX writers, brand and marketing, technical project management and engineering, testing, data, compliance and legal teams. We are a multi-cultural and decentralized team with a deep passion for bitcoin, crypto and Defi. We are objective oriented and everyone contributes to data analysis to drive business growth.

About the Opportunity:

Trading is the bread and butter of a digital asset exchange and is Okcoin’s original product. There are primarily two key aspects to the trading product, programmatic (APIs) and the UX experience. We aggregate both of these into a “Pro” category to differentiate from the other retail products. We are seeking an experienced crypto-native product manager to own Pro Trading at Okcoin. Working within the product organization, this role will also work closely with our product and development partners in Beijing and interface with the business development teams that are working closely with market makers (MMs), High-frequency traders (HFTs) and other crypto trading-focused institutions. This role will also partner with the go-to-market teams to craft a narrative about the benefits and features of trading with Okcoin. Success will be measured by trading volumes and related transaction metrics.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work with the business team to develop a strategy for spot, leveraged and other derivative trading products, establishing priorities and communicating to all stakeholders

• Manage the roadmap for trading-related product features and related internal tools

• Identify market opportunities in conjunction with the business team to differentiate Okcoin

• Build operational maturity for trading product development and ensure the roadmap is executed flawlessly, from the “go” decision to final product development including web, app, integrations with earn, wallet, and any other related product features

• Liaison with trade technology & system engineers to assess technical requirements and maintenance planning for the trading systems

• Define and monitor KPIs for trading while leading process and workflow improvements

• Drive product discussions with key stakeholders to ensure trading products are meeting customer needs and market demand

• Influence Okcoin’s business strategy and be a key contributor to prioritization decisions

• Assume accountability for product roadmaps, resource allocation, release cadence and testing

• Partner with marketing and growth center teams to develop a go-to-market strategy that encompasses localized opportunities
  
  

What We Look For In You:

• 7+ years of dedicated and successful product management experience with bitcoin, crypto, Defi, social, gaming, e-commerce or finance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field
• A track record of success launching highly scalable and successful products within Defi, crypto, fintech, social or gaming industries
• Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
• Have worked with and built successful products with remote development teams
• Passion for Bitcoin, crypto, Defi and/or blockchain
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
