Securrency is a company well on its way to being a technology unicorn. While we are growing rapidly, we still retain the spirit and camaraderie of a dynamic start-up. Individuals are responsible for developing Solidity smart contracts under the direction of a lead engineer to implement smart contract best practices and patterns, algorithmic logic related to financial instruments. Guard against security risks, participate in audits, and deploy contracts to various blockchain environments.
Responsibilities
- Create a development environment using Truffle, Ganache
- Familiarity with testing Smart Contracts using Truffle and Ganache using unit tests
- Development of logic using Solidity
- Reading and understanding requirements related to financial instruments and a variety of other use cases
- Appropriately estimating tasks time and effort cost
- Responsibility in deploying logic to various blockchain environments
- Ability to identify and implement common Smart Contract patterns
- Identify and amend Smart Contract Security risks
- Participate in Smart Contract Audits
- Work in an Agile environment
- 3+ years and strong proficiency in Solidity or Vyper and Ethereum virtual machine for smart contract development
- Knowledge of Ethereum Solidity/Vyper security concerns and best practices
- Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with Github and Jira tools
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or similar container-based technologies
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM-related field

- 1-2 times a year to an office in North Carolina or Abu Dhabi
