About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and expand our growing CX and website development team.
Our engineering culture is centered around inclusion, communication, collaboration and education. This manager will act as a face of this culture, working to implement and cement this culture across various teams and geographies.
For the manager of this team, we are looking for someone with experience building and managing websites across multiple domains, as well as in-depth knowledge and expertise in UI/UX-centric software development.
Responsibilities and Scope:
- Manage our web engineering pod, as well oversee our web platforms, architecture and systems
- Help analyze and improve our existing web platform, through iteration and replatform
- Hire and mentor a growing team of web engineers
- Determine the strategy and objectives for the infrastructure and development of our websites
- Establish and enforce best practices and set expectations around website development
- Provide technical oversight, as well as oversee the execution and delivery of planned project deliverables and milestones
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of managerial experience and 5+ years of industry experience, preferably with UX/UI centric projects
- Experience developing APIs and leveraging front-end technologies and frameworks
- Experience with CMS technologies and platforms, as well as experience designing, scaling and maintaining production content media sites
- Ability to work hands on in an agile environment and modern tech stack
- Passionate about building high-quality well-tested code, at scale
- Curious about Blockchain and willing to learn and remain up to date with cryptocurrency news and trends
(NYC only) Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is [$200,000-$240,000]. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
