Blockdaemon is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to help who will be responsible for building APIs which currently allow users to purchase over 40 cryptocurrencies in over 125 countries. In this role you’ll find yourself partnering directly with the frontend and backend engineering teams. Work closely with the back end engineering, product and design teams to help translate requirements accordingly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise RESTful web services using Node.js, Javascript and Typescript
- Develop and maintain various third party API integrations
- Collaborate with vendors to streamline integration and rapid onboarding of new technologies
- Automate the deployment of Node.js microservices
- Work closely with cross functional teams
- Build and maintain public SDKs
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform on call duties
- Participate in architectural and security discussions to ensure solutions are designed for overall success
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What We Look For In You
- 3+ years of experience
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Experience with key value storage (Redis, DyanmoDB, etc.)
- Solid understanding of interface design and implementation
- Proficiency in working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, remote team
- Good working knowledge of application security standards
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Git
- Solid understanding and comfortable with Docker
- Comfortable working with Linux based server environments
