Docker Jobs in Web3

This API Engineering Lead will be responsible for delivering the Core-Api products at Nifty’s. The workload for this role consists of managing the design, development, and deployment of dockerized nodejs applications interfacing with public and private data-sources including but not limited to the Ethereum and Palm Blockchains. This manager will own the process of application development from soup to nuts, and grow their team as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather product requirements.
• Efficiently delegate tasks to software engineers in JIRA.
• Generate LOE on tasks by collaborating with engineers and product leadership.
• Enforce standards and practices for code quality and delivery.
• Make plans for velocity improvements, and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with other team leads on integration points.

Requirements:

• Web3 Experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Experience shipping highly available nodejs APIs in containers.
• Experience managing deployments of docker containers.
• 3-5 years experience in nodejs software development.
• 2-5 years of software engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with relational database concepts and SQL queries preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are required.
