We are looking for a motivated Strong Junior PHP Developer to join our Platform Team (Payment Gateway Service).
You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where we develop and maintain services responsible for seamless and secure interactions with multiple payment providers.

As a Junior Developer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to build, integrate and support payment solutions that power our core products.
This is a great opportunity to learn about fintech systems, payment flows and scalable backend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain the PHP-based Payment Gateway Service that interacts with external payment provider APIs.

• Assist in integrating new payment providers into the system.

• Monitor and troubleshoot payment-related issues and transactions.

• Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, DevOps specialists and product/integration managers to deliver high-quality features.

• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes.

• Solid knowledge of PHP (preferably version 7.4 or higher).

• 1+ year of experience developing with the Symfony framework and Doctrine ORM.

• Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols and JSON.

• Familiarity with OOP principles and MVC frameworks (e.g. Symfony; Laravel is a plus).

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).

• Willingness to learn and work in a domain-heavy area such as payments and financial services.

• Intermediate English (reading, writing and speaking).

Nice to Have

• Experience working with payment providers, online transactions or financial systems.

• Hands-on experience with microservices and Apache Thrift/gRPC.

• Basic understanding of Docker or containerized environments (e.g. Kubernetes).

• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Sentry, Jaeger or Kibana dashboards.

• Experience with unit testing, Behat and debugging practices.
