founded on Swiss and Singapore dual heritage, operating globally. We make digital assets bankable, secure and convenient, empowering our clients to invest in the digital asset economy with complete trust. For the first time with Sygnum, major currencies and digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and digital CHF and asset tokens are seamlessly integrated in one account.

We are currently looking for an Intern to join our Clients team in our Zurich office for a period of 6 months.

Tasks

  • Support the Clients team in ensuring that the envisioned Clients roadmap is realized and Sygnum’s solutions are continuously enhanced and expanded.
  • Develop tailor-made presentations for various client meetings by gathering scope and expectations from Chief Clients Officer
  • Support the Clients team in various reports and analyses related to clients, products, competitors, industry trends, etc.
  • Work in close cooperation with the different Sygnum teams to identify the requirements of the market and the ecosystem that will have an impact on our offerings today and in the future.
  • Team up with our sales team and support them in client meetings, both with (U)HNWI clients as well as institutional investors

Requirements

Independent thinker who can execute tasks by himself/herself.

    tasks to completion independently.

Passion for Blockchain topics.

  • Bringing in experience in the topic (personally or professionally) is definitely a plus.
  • Confident appearance in meetings. This might be internal meetings, or interactions with our (potential) clients. For both, we expect that you can formulate your views in a professional and convincing manner.

Can-do attitude.

  • Since you will be joining a startup, your scope of actions will be broad. We expect you to be willing (and enjoying) to tackle all the potential challenges ahead. For some, you will know the solution, for others, you will need to find it. However, as a team, we have the ability overcome all challenges.

Know your tools.

  • As we work in a business environment, it is essential that you are able to create meaningful and simple illustrations for complex matters as well as run calculations,e.g., for business cases, independently. Hence, you should have advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.

If this reads like your profile, please send us your CV with Diplomas and Working Reference Letters. Thank you.

How do I start a Web3 career?

If you're interested in starting a career in Web3, here are a few steps you can take:

  1. First, it's important to gain a solid understanding of the underlying technologies that make up the Web3 ecosystem, such as blockchain, cryptography, and decentralized networks. You can do this by reading books and articles, taking online courses, or attending workshops and conferences.
  2. Next, you'll want to build a portfolio of projects that showcase your skills and knowledge. This can include creating dApps (decentralized applications) using blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, contributing to open-source projects, or writing articles and tutorials on Web3-related topics.
  3. Networking is also an important part of any career, and the Web3 space is no exception. Attend meetups and conferences, join online communities, and make connections with other professionals in the field. This can help you learn from others, share your own expertise, and potentially find job opportunities.
  4. Finally, consider getting certified in Web3 technologies. There are several organizations that offer certification programs, which can help demonstrate your proficiency and set you apart from other candidates in the job market.
