About the Team:

The Trust & Safety team builds frameworks that allow Worldcoin’s employees to engage with our ecosystem stakeholders (namely, Orb Operators and Users), as well as external stakeholders (namely, media, law enforcement, and policymakers) in the safest and most transparent and safest way. At its core, the Trust & Safety team aims to protect our community while actively building trust both internally and externally.

About the Opportunity:

As the Head of Trust & Safety, you will take the lead in defining the overall department strategy while coordinating with other teams (i.e., Legal, Growth, and Comms) to establish effective processes to ensure the safety of all Worldcoin stakeholder groups.

• Build and manage Worldcoin’s Trust & Safety team;
• Define the department strategy;
• Establish executions standards of the team;
• Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders;
• Collaborate with with other teams (i.e., Growth, Legal, and Communications to ensure alignment between teams; and
• Continuously improve Worldcoin’s Trust & Safety operations and strengthen internal processes.

About You:

• Bachelor 's Degree in Law, Political Science, or related field; MBA from a top tier University preferred, but not required
• Proven experience leading Trust & Safety departments or a similar role in a publicly-traded company or high-growth company
• Demonstrated experience scaling a global technology startup (ideally in the gig economy or cryptocurrency space)
• Proven track record managing a team and developing talent within an organization
