About Us:
Triton One is an international, fully remote company specializing in high-end infrastructure services for blockchain and other ecosystems, including Solana, PythNet, Wormhole, Sui, and Aptos. We collaborate closely with key developer teams across these platforms, leveraging our globally distributed RPC and validator deployments, most of which are managed through our Ruby on Rails applications. Additionally, we manage validators.app, a Rails-based platform designed to assist Solana stakeholders in identifying top validators.
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer with a solid foundation in JavaScript and product design to join our compact web applications team. This position entails planning, designing, developing, and maintaining our Ruby on Rails web applications. The role involves significant initial development work ("0-1 work"), where you must demonstrate strong intuitive skills for innovating new product features, primarily focused on Web3 and blockchain technologies.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or completion of a reputable coding school or boot camp.
- At least five years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
- At least five years of experience in building front-end applications using JavaScript, including proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.).
- Exceptional proficiency in English.
- Experience with blockchain technologies and Web3.
- The ability to work independently and drive the design of new products with minimal oversight.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience on an hourly contract basis. Compensation options include payment via USDC-SPL or several fiat currencies.
