BlockFi is looking for a Crypto Mining Manager to join our growing team!
About Your Team
We are a small team dedicated to the development and operation of Bitcoin mining facilities. We have significant overlap with the mining loan business, as they are synergistic.
Your Mission
- Support all aspects the self-mining effort at BlockFi.
- Be an in-house resource to the mining loan business.
- Develop and own financial model for economic evaluation of Bitcoin mining projects
- Understand mining rig characteristics and their effect on the economic return and operating performance.
- Monitor mining infrastructure construction progress and budgeting.
- Research the BTC mining ecosystem maintaining a database of statistics and developing predictions on future hashrate.
- Maintain and analyze mining performance historical data in conjunction with accounting department
Your Expertise
- Two or more years of experience in financial modeling
- Knowledge of the fundamentals Bitcoin mining
- Knowledge of computer chip manufacturing industry a plus.
- Some familiarity and aptitude with Crypto, particularly Bitcoin
- Undergraduate degree required.
