Let’s go!Your Mission As an AFC Compliance Intern in the Business Advisory Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the AFC Compliance Department by assisting with establishing and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), reviewing compliance controls, and proposing improvements to maintain a risk-based approach. This position will enable you to gain hands-on experience in anti-financial crime compliance operations, data-driven insights, and regulatory practices within the financial and virtual asset sectors. What You’ll Do

Assist in the monitoring and analysis of AFC compliance-related KPIs to ensure they reflect accurate risk management strategies and regulatory. Help ensure compliance activities, especially around Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and sanctions, are optimised to reflect a risk-based approach. Collaborate with the team to develop reporting templates, dashboard insights, and analytical tools that enhance decision-making processes in the AFC Compliance Department. Prepare high-quality reports and slides showcasing critical data analysis, trends, and insights for senior management and compliance teams. Participate in compliance projects and contribute to the strategic planning of the AFC department's efforts to prevent financial crime.

Who You Are

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, able to work with large data sets and generate insights. Skilled in preparing slides and visual presentations that communicate critical data analysis effectively for internal reporting. Practical experience with data tools like Excel and/or SQL. Experience with Snowflake or Python is a plus. Interested in anti-financial crime topics, especially regarding anti-money laundering, terrorism financing and fraud. Interest in learning about the monitoring and enhancement of compliance KPIs within a regulated financial environment. Team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks. What’s in it for you
