Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services and microservices for the Risk platform using Java (Spring Boot).
- Collaborate closely with risk analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to design and implement systems for fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and user protection.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Analyze and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Assist in building tools and automation to improve operational efficiency and response time to emerging threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (students in their final year are welcome to apply).
- Solid understanding of Java programming fundamentals, object-oriented design, and multithreading.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in security, risk management, or financial systems is a plus.
