As a Blockchain Engineer at Fun.xyz, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing blockchain-based systems and smart contracts. Your work will involve working with various blockchain technologies, including Solana and other leading platforms, to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure decentralized applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blockchain Development: Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain platforms, including Solana
- System Integration: Integrate blockchain solutions with existing backend systems and frontend applications using TypeScript, Java, and AWS
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct thorough code reviews and collaborate with peers to ensure high-quality software development
- Smart Contract Development: Develop and maintain smart contracts, ensuring they are secure, optimized, and functioning as intended. Utilize tools and best practices for smart contract development and testing
- Database Management: Work with database systems to manage and optimize data storage, retrieval, and interaction with blockchain components
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality blockchain-based features and functionality
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the blockchain space. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance our blockchain capabilities
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to blockchain technology and smart contracts, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in backend and blockchain development, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, AWS, and various database technologies
- Blockchain Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, including direct development on smart contracts and familiarity with platforms like Solana and other major blockchains
