As a software engineer at Sygnum you have a broad experience with various implementation projects (e.g. coming from consulting background) – small and large implementations using different technologies involving front-end, back-end or integration, ideally with a JavaScript based tech stack. We can offer you to work with latest technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization, especially blockchain that’s always pushing boundaries. Here, you will take complete, end-to-end ownership of our applications. You will have experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back- end languages. You’ll be joining an amazing team working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact both the front- end and back- end architecture, and ultimately, deliver amazing global user experiences.

Tasks

  • Develop robust, performant and scalable microservices, build frontends, libraries, and components.
  • Be responsible in DevOps manner for the whole process from development through code review, continuous integration pipelines, up to the deployment to the cloud.
  • Work closely with frontend engineers and product owners on the development of new applications, microservices and integrations.
  • Align overall architecture, technology, and solutions between the projects through our guilds and tech meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field – e.g. computer science.
  • Proficiency in many parts of the technology stack below.
  • Experience in security and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
  • Strong interest in crypto currencies / blockchain / cryptography and DeFi.

Tech Stack:

  • Knowledge of Javascript, TypeScript, React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, StencilJS.
  • NodeJS, NestJS Framework, TypeORM, WebSockets, PostgreSQL or other database systems.
  • We use Kafka, Redis, Zookeeper, Zeebe (Camunda).
  • Blockchain-technologies especially Ethereum Ecosystem, web3js, etherjs, Rosetta.
  • Docker tools, git, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • AWS: ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions.
