Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and take ownership of Web3 Foundation infrastructure and services
- Deploy, tune, and maintain (ChainOps) services related to Polkadot and Kusama
- Build automation around provisioning and deployment of services
- Continuously improve the observability of systems and services
- Design and implement automated roll-back and recovery mechanisms
- Participate in on-call rotation, failure resolution and post-mortem analysis
Requirements
- Experience in assessing, designing and maintaining scalable, resilient, performant and observable systems
- Proficient in Linux and familiar with Open Source in general
- Hands-on experience and enthusiasm working with cloud-native technologies such as;
- Kubernetes, Containers, Git, CI/CD Pipelines
- Observability tools, e.g. Prometheus and Alertmanager
- Familiarity with GitOps, e.g. ArgoCD
- Knowledge of security concepts and network protocols, e.g. proxies, SSH, TLS, DNS
- Systematic and precise problem-solving approach
- Motivated and self-driven
- Team player with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership
