Sorare is a fantasy sports gaming experience and marketplace featuring officially licensed digital player cards. With Sorare you build legacy teams –  buying, selling, collecting and trading player cards -- and compete with them in free-to-play fantasy games to win rewards week over week and season over season, just like a professional sports owner.

Our Journey

Sorare was founded by Nicolas Julia and Adrien Montfort in 2018 in Paris to bring sports fans across the globe closer to the players, teams, and leagues they love.

With 130-plus employees across France and US, Sorare is one of Europe’s fastest-growing startups and recently raised a $680 million Series B funding round from world-class investors including SoftBank, Accel, and Benchmark. Please note that Sorare is a hybrid work company; employees are required to be in office 3 days a week. 

Responsibilities

•  Drive complex projects from inception to production

• Care deeply about performance and maintainability

• Work with product and design to implement core features for our players

• Build features that drive scalability or deliver delight to our players

• Technologies we currently use:

  • Blockchain: Ethereum, Solidity, Starkware

  • Languages: Ruby, Typescript

  • Frameworks: Rails, React, GraphQL

  • Services: Algolia, PostgreSQL

  • Platforms: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English

• 3-5 years of experience as a frontend or full stack engineer

• Independent and highly motivated: You seek ownership, think creatively, and take initiative to turn ideas into real impact

• Eager to learn: You are not afraid by new technologies or new paradigms

• Attentive to details: You strive for the best quality
