Description

At Halborn, we are dedicated to innovation and excellence in the field of Cloud and kubernetes. We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for enhancing our operations and bridging the gap between our DevOps and development teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS. 

    • Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily using AWS. 

    • Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS. 

    • Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. 

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. 

    • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes. 

    • Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production AWS environment and ensure their ongoing support. 

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating and sharing knowledge within teams. 

    Required Skills and Qualifications: 

    • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role. 

    • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration. 

    • Experience with Python and typescript 

    • Solid experience with AWS, including EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, IAM, Route 53, and other services. 

    • Experience with Kubernetes including deployments, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Adept at using Git and GitHub for version control. 

    • Understanding and practice of Agile methodologies. 

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer). 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 

    • Experience with CI/CD systems and automated testing. 

    • Knowledge of security practices and compliance standards.
