The Parity education team is a new team trusted with the mission of helping individuals and teams get deeper knowledge of Blockchain, Polkadot and of the technologies and tools built by Parity Technologies.

This position is responsible for supporting students through their learning journey in the new Parity Education program. You will be one of the founding member of Parity new Education Team,

Responsibilities:

  • Student Success Manager works in close collaboration with the instructional team to design and implement processes and activities to support students through their learning journey. Students can be supported through 1:1 check-ins, answering questions and providing guidance during project time, setting up a mentoring or group work program, and leveraging other methods of academic and individual support .
  • Work hand in hand with instructional team on assessing student aptitude and progress; Design and collaborate on remediation plans and support plans as necessary
  • Integrate feedback given by students, instructors, TAs and hiring managers to continually improve student performance and satisfaction.
  • Design and implement pilots aimed at improving student experience and graduating outcomes

  • Love of coaching: You have excellent people skills and a genuine empathy for our students. You love supporting people in achieving their goals and in bettering their lives.
  • Love learning and iterating. This program is new and will require several rounds of experimentations and iterations. You embrace change.
  • Collaboration: You will play a central role in sharing the students’ voice to the instructional team and in implementing processes and activities that will impact both students’ performance and satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication.
  • Experience in Education, student support or in-person community management.
  • You can work well in a distributed team.
  • Travels required incl. international travel
