About The Opportunity ✍️

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team as an independent contractor. You will work with our social media marketing agency to take ownership of managing social media projects across various disciplines, including creative, strategy, design, content development, and communications.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, you will play a critical role in driving project execution, fostering effective communication, and achieving project objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your exceptional project management skills and contribute to the success of our innovative and impactful projects.

What you will do…

• Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning, initiation, and execution of projects across multiple disciplines, including creative, strategy, design, content development, and communications.

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure efficient project execution.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget, scope, and timeline while maintaining high quality standards.
    

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Communications team, Business Development, Partner Success, Product, MoonPay Ventures, IT/Security, & Otherlife (MoonPay’s design team)

  • Foster effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among team members to drive project success.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings, providing clear updates, resolving issues, and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Act as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries and provide timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.
    

• Resource Management:

  • Identify project resource requirements and allocate the necessary personnel, equipment, and materials.

  • Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize project efficiency and productivity.

  • Manage external vendors, contractors, and partners, ensuring adherence to project requirements and quality standards.
    

• Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify and assess project risks, dependencies, and potential issues, developing proactive mitigation plans.

  • Monitor project risks throughout the lifecycle, implementing contingency measures when necessary.

  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
    

• Project Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests.

  • Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and accomplishments for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned, best practices, and areas for improvement.

What you will need…

• 2-4+ years of Project Management experience

• General understanding of design, digital and social media terminology

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Some experience with social media content development

• Remote, but with the ability to work on the EST time zone
