Role overview
You'll have a lot of decision making power, autonomy and trust. We make decisions democratically and give team members the time, resources and authority to work on what they think is most important.
The right candidate will be passionate about QA and improving application stability, working with both developers and the users to build and maintain existing tests. You can demonstrate the ability to quickly absorb and make use of new information. You're able to research best practices and make use of them.
We are open to remote, hybrid or office-based working for this role. Should you wish to spend time in the office, our office in Porto (Batalha) is our Portugal hub where more than 25 team members are currently based.
Requirements
- QA Engineering Experience (software testing experience). You have at least two years experience writing automated tests for web and/or non-web based applications.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes with fluency in Javascript and git.
- Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Tech stack is JS NodeJS backend + react frontend (using Typescript).
Nice to have:
- Experience with high volume, high availability enterprise systems.
- Experience building and/or testing REST and/or web socket based APIs.
- Knowledge of Cypress and BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber).
