We’re seeking a DeFi Engineer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization, especially blockchain that’s always pushing boundaries. Here, you will take complete, end-to-end ownership of our applications. You will have experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back- end languages. You’ll be joining an amazing team working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact both the front- end and back- end architecture, and ultimately, deliver amazing global user experiences.
Tasks
- Be part of our DeFi team and work on the integration of new DeFi protocols into the Sygnum platform.
- Produce highly scalable and performant components that are unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
- Code using primarily JavaScript and work on both back-end and front-end components. Front-end components typically based on React.
- Develop multi-tier highly scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications.
- Work with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in front-end and back-end JavaScript (Node.js,React.js) and ideally server-side Java, HTML5, CSS, etc., RESTful API, version control using Git, AWS/Docker/OpenShift.
- Deep understanding about blockchains & smart contracts, especially Ethereum.
- Being a clear communicator and can express your thoughts in a technical debate.
- Caring deeply about building scalable applications.
- Strong interest and understanding of Blockchain and the DeFi space.
- Experience with smart contract development using Solidity.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
