The Engineering Services team
Our Engineering Services team are collaborating with some of the top teams in the web3 space (e.g. Matter Labs and Web3 foundation). We are striving to become the be the best protocol engineering team in the world by bringing our current expertise to solve new problems as well as building our own knowledge through collaboration. For this engagement we will be working on a project to bring corporate and private debt on-chain via real world assets (RWAs) on zkSync. Incorporating on-chain elements to create use cases for those RWAs.Â
Your Role:
We are looking for a Senior Solidity Engineer that has led the design, implementation and testing of solidity smart contracts, ideally as part of a DeFi protocol. A successful candidate will have experience deploying protocols with a high total value locked and so will understand the need for extremely robust security. We expect a defense in depth strategy to minimize security risks for the implementation including automated testing, working with outside contract auditing teams and internal Moonsong Labs engineers, and an external client engineering team.Â
We also encourage people to work together and collaborate across our different teams, this means if youâre interested in substrate, rust engineering or cross-chain interoperability (to name a few) there will be opportunities to take part in knowledge sharing sessions to further your understanding of the ecosystem.
What you'll do:
- Come up with a viable design and implementation for the smart contract(s) for phases 1, 2, and 3 of the project
- Work with the other engineers on the team to build phase 1 of the project to show the client an MVP within the first 3 months
- Design a complete set of tests to cover key use cases and common attack vectors
- Identify and properly document good practices and risks related to smart contract design
- Mitigate major smart contract risks such that there are no significant smart contract vulnerabilities in phases 1, 2, and 3 of the project.
- Deliver secure smart contracts that meet functional requirements on time and on schedule for the project across all phases
What you'll bring
- Experience designing, developing, and testing solidity smart contracts designed to store large amounts of value.
- Experience mitigating smart contract security risks by enumerating threat vectors, using test automation, peer review, bounty programs, and external auditors
- Experience with DeFi protocol engineering. Bonus for lending / borrowing and RWA experience.
- Experience integrating off-chain infrastructure with on-chain contracts.
- Experience interacting with clients and other external teams to deliver software on time and with high quality standards
- Experience writing requirements, design, test, and other documents required to support development efforts.
