Napster is seeking a music and technology fan to play an important role in the development and implementation of Napster’s blockchain and cryptocurrency products. Your ideas and your innovation will help shape a new ecosystem of digital asset and content management in Napster’s strategy to merge media streaming and Web3.
We are looking for a Web3/Blockchain Engineer to help us grow and sustain blockchain software in a high-performant, streaming environment. Responsibilities
- Challenges others to be solution-oriented - works to understand a problem, evaluate existing/new solutions and pushes for data-driven consensus
- Assist in architecting cryptocurrency plans and platform selection along with wallet integrations
- Design, develop and implement key system and application architecture components that support the creation, transfer, and storage of digital assets
- Is a hands-on developer, applying the best industry standards for code health, security, scalability, and robustness
- Experience working on and shipping complex applications as part of a team; with several years of experience as a successful technical lead
- Experience with multiple general purpose programming languages such as: Node.js, Typescript, PyTEAL, Go, Java, C, C++, or Rust
- Experience in any of the following: ReST API, GraphQL or gRPC design and development, distributed systems, secure coding, network coding, performance optimizations, and smart contracts
- Cloud native - Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technology (GCP preferred)
- Strong interest in metaverse, blockchain technologies and DAOs
- Passionate about testing code for completeness, accuracy and security
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly focused on technical design, strategy, and project planning
