- Collaborate with protocol developers, external front-end and back-end teams to deliver E2E solutions
- Contribute to reference architectures and internal best practices for compliant asset issuance
- Stay up to date on Solana improvement proposals, DeFi infrastructure, and regulatory developments
You might be a fit if you have:
- 8+ years in a technical architecture or engineering role
- Hands-on experience with Web3 tools: wallets, APIs, smart contracts (ideally Solana)
- Solid understanding of asset tokenization (e.g. securities, funds, carbon, real estate)
- Familiarity with Solana architecture (SPL tokens, PDAs, anchor framework, etc.)
- Prior exposure to regulated financial institutions or capital markets infrastructure
- Bonus: Experience with enterprise integrations, custody APIs, or compliance toolkits
- Nice to have: Rust reading fluency (writing not required); experience on Ethereum or Cosmos
Why join R3 Labs?
- Work at the intersection of Web3 innovation and institutional-grade infrastructure
- Influence how the next generation of tokenized assets is built and traded
What does a Rust developer in web3 do?
A Rust developer in the context of web3 is a programmer who uses the Rust programming language to build applications and tools for the decentralized web, also known as the web3 ecosystem
The specific responsibilities of a Rust developer in web3 may vary depending on the project or organization they are working for, but in general, they would be responsible for writing, testing, and maintaining Rust code that is used to build web3 applications
This could include things like creating smart contracts for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, building tools for interacting with decentralized storage networks, or developing decentralized applications (dApps) for the web3 ecosystem.
