Position Overview
As a Business Development Manager at Solida Equity Partners, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for generating new business opportunities. Your primary objective will be to prospect potential customers, qualify leads, schedule initial meetings, and close deals. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, energetic, and eager to advance their career in business development within a cutting-edge company.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify potential customers through various channels (cold calling, email outreach, social media, etc.).
- Qualify leads, set appointments, and close deals.
- Be a high-performing individual with effective communication and active listening.
- Collaborate closely with the team to develop and execute strategies to achieve targets and expand our customer base.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective interactions.
- Continuously improve your knowledge of our products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in business development, closing deals, customer service, or a similar role (preferred).
- Experience in private equity, financial services, or the tech space (highly preferred).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate product offerings and value propositions effectively.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering results.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
