About the Job
We are building the new ecosystem and have received a lot of interest. We are looking for an experienced, ambitious, and crypto-native ecosystem builder to join us and lead Babylon’s business development and ecosystem growth.
You will:
- Drive our adoption among PoS chains, BTC layer projects, BTC miners, staking projects, custodians, etc.
- Form partnerships with key ecosystem players such as wallets and validators.
- Recruit and manage the BD/partnership team
- Collaborate with Head of Product Strategy to develop and implement economic integration strategies for different PoS ecosystems
- Work with CTO on software integration requirements
- Collaborate with the marketing team on events and campaigns targeting specific users and partners.
- Contribute to the incubation of the developer community that builds within our ecosystem.Â
About You
You are an ambitious and crypto-native business development and/or ecosystem-building expert with a solid track record. You have strong business sense and solid understanding of blockchain technology landscape.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in business development and/or ecosystem building for blockchain projects
- 2+ years of experience in blockchain BD team management
- excellent written and verbal English
- excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport
- self-motivated and high work ethic
- ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines
What does a sales in web3 do?
As a sales in the field of web3, the individual would be responsible for selling web3 products and services to clients
This would involve identifying potential clients, building relationships with them, and presenting the benefits of the web3 products and services in a way that is compelling and relevant to the client's needs
The salesperson would also be responsible for negotiating contracts and pricing with clients, as well as providing support and guidance throughout the sales process
Additionally, the salesperson may be involved in developing sales strategies and tactics, and tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Overall, the main responsibility of a salesperson in the web3 field is to drive sales and revenue for the company.
