About the role
Stake Capital Group is currently in search of a tech-savvy Head of Business Development for one of our clients in the blockchain data & analytics sector.
Job Overview
We are seeking a senior professional to take accountability for our Business Development Strategy from creation to execution. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in web3, preferably with on-chain foundations. This role requires working autonomously with minimal supervision and is responsible for the company's growth by increasing revenue, expanding the customer base, and uncovering new partnership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- 4+ years of proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or related roles within Web3, DeFi, or Blockchain (mandatory).
- Established network that can be leveraged, preferably within institutional circles.
- Proficiency across social media platforms, sales platforms, and search engines.
- Strong understanding of business development techniques and tools.
- Ability to build relationships across the ecosystem.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Well-organized with strong analytical skills to create a BD strategy.
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and take initiative.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
Main Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue business opportunities related to the company's activities, acting as a liaison between tech and ecosystem partners.
- Target prospective clients through channels such as cold calling, social media networking, and industry events.
- Qualify leads and nurture them through the sales funnel.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes and strategies.
- Coordinate and execute PR efforts to enhance the project's reputation.
- Proactively seek and engage emerging opportunities, staying updated on industry trends.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales data to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, potential customers, and competitors' activities.
- Analyze industry data to evaluate market potential and identify growth areas.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.
Additional Information:
- This is a fully remote position with no geographical limitations.
