What You’ll Do
- System Architecture: Design and build scalable backend services with Python, setting technical standards and leading architectural decisions.
- Database Management: Architect and optimize MySQL schemas, write efficient queries, and implement caching strategies for high performance.
- AWS Infrastructure: Manage and enhance AWS services like EC2, RDS, and S3 for robust, scalable cloud solutions.
- API Development: Create secure, high-performance RESTful APIs to support frontend applications.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Backend Expertise: 6+ years of experience building production backend systems with Python.
- Database Proficiency: Strong expertise in MySQL, including query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Cloud Savvy: Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture best practices.
- System Design Mastery: Proven ability to create scalable, distributed systems.
- Security First: Solid understanding of web security principles and implementation.
- Quality-Driven: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and code quality tools.
- Leadership Skills: A track record of mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
- AI/ML Experience: Experience using PyTorch to train and fine-tine models. Experience building RAG applications.
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker.
- Familiarity with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or SQS.
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of DevOps practices.
- Blockchain and Solidity Experience is preferred!
